I received the following question:

In Luke 11:31, does the queen of Sheba actually do the judging, or is it that they are just humiliated that a Gentile had more faith than they?

Luke 11:31. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

I do not see the queen of the South as a judge here, so much as a witness for the prosecution. The men of Nineveh are mentioned in the next verse.

32. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

Does this mean that these are all judges? I do not believe so. God is the judge. The queen of Sheba and the men of Nineveh are simply witnesses, and their faith testifies against the unbelief of the evil generation of religious leaders of the Lord Jesus’ day.
