I received the following question:

In Luke 2:24, if Mary had to offer two turtle doves/pigeons, one for a sin offering then that would prove Mary wasn’t sinless right?

24. and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”

Leviticus 12:8. And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.

Right. Every indication is that Mary was not sinless or perfect. The fact that she offered a sin offering is just another proof.
