microphone02Greetings once again to all of you who have been reading and enjoying my Precepts writings for many years! I wanted to update you on the latest news from my radio ministry. My ministry is “Knowing God in the Word,” and is funded and supported by The Word of Truth Ministry of Canyon Country, California. The program has expanded from four radio stations at my last update to eleven stations currently!

I am still broadcast on my original station, the Twin Cities Christian Talk radio station, 980 AM The Mission. The show is on at 8:00PM on Saturday evenings. For those of you who do not live in the Twin Cities, you can still stream AM980 The Mission over the Internet at their website, http://www.am980themission.com/.

My second station, which I perhaps now consider my “flagship” station, is JOY 1340AM in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This now includes an FM affiliate as well, JOY 98.7FM. The program in Milwaukee is on at 2:30PM Central Time on Wednesday afternoons. The program is streamed live over the Internet, for those of you who do not live in the Milwaukee area, at http://joy1340.com/. Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome to “Precepts,” the online Bible study by Nathan C. Johnson. In this blog, we will consider a variety of Biblical topics, ranging from analysis of certain doctrines to word studies to an examination of various books of Scripture.

The author is a Bible student, and a Bible teacher. He claims nothing beyond this. This blog is written to all for whom the Word of God is held in high esteem. In this blog, it will be assumed that the Bible is nothing less than the inspired Word of God, written through men whom He commissioned to write, and through whom He recorded His thoughts for us to read and understand. The author believes that the Jesus Christ of the New Testament is the Jehovah of the Old Testament, and is the Creator of all that exists. The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to human beings, and through It we can learn of Him and His plans for us. It is for the purpose of uncovering and discovering that plan, and the One Who is behind it, that these studies are dedicated.

I pray that my readers will enjoy “Precepts,” and that all who read will benefit from them and grow in knowledge and appreciation of our Lord and Savior.
